*gets absolutely nothing done* well time for a break

Reblogged from We're on fire now

I may not be as bad as that one guy on TV but I did just get this phone Friday and I dropped and shattered it this morning. Thank god I have insurance (even though I do have to pay the deductible). Sigh.

UGH I HATE BEING ABLE TO FIND ANY INFORMATION I NEED ONLINE UGHHH TECHNOLOGY IS BAD BURN THE INTERNET LET US GO BACK TO A SIMPLER TIME BEFORE ELECTRICITY WHEN WE COULD ALL DIE EVERY TIME WE GOT A COLD

Idk it looks more like Albert’s just sick of explainin shit to people over and over again

Actually you’re probably right. Einstein was a huge critic of the act of committing things to memory that could easily just be looked up. He thought it was a waste of time, effort, and mental resources that could be out to much better use. Einstein would probably be the type to just ask you to Google something. Hell if for no other reason than if you asked him something he would say that he didn’t remember it himself.

One of the highlights of the weekend was kellysue and mattfractionblog party where great comic artists filled in their hallway comic panel wallpaper.

that’s Matt Wagner, skottieyoung, tony moore, Matthew clarke and many others.

Hey, look, it’s our hallway.

Edited to add:

This is the wallpaper we used: http://www.grahambrown.com/us/product/52050/taylor-wood-frames

“I remember when I was doing “Rent” and I was too thin, and I was doing that on purpose because I’m dying, I’m a HIV+ drug addict. I remember having to eat raw food and doing all this work to make sure I could stay thin… And I remember everyone asking me when I was doing press for the movie, “what did you do to get so thin? You looked great!” and I’m like, “I looked emaciated.” It’s a form of violence in the way that we look at women and how we expect them to look and be, for… what’s sake? No…

I love her so much, you guys.
